Blue Devil Golf Tryouts Begin Feb. 12

Statesboro High School golf tryouts will be held at GSU golf course on 2/12 @4:00 and 2/13 at FHCC @ 4:00.  See Coach Elmore with questions.  Make sure you have turned in your physcial and other athletic paperwork prior to tryouts.  Paperwork is available in the athletic office or for print under “more” on the athletic webpage.  

Season Passes on Sale

Blue Devil Fans, Season Passes are now on sale for Softball, Volleyball, and Football  for the 2017 season. Boys Golf Finishes 2nd at Golden Isles

Statesboro High Boys Golf team finished 2nd at the Golden Isles Invitational yesterday. Mason Kleinlein shot a 76, Tate Rackleff shot a 79, Ford Berger finished the match 79, Hunter Brown ended with an 82, and Aaron Elmore ended the match with an 87. The team tees off again this weekend at GSU.    

SHS Boys Golf Wins 3rd Straight Tournament

Boys Golf Win Back-To-Back

The golf teams from SHS competed Wednesday at the Georgia Southern Golf Course and Thursday at Forest Heights Country Club.  In the Bulloch County Championship Wednesday, the boys topped Portal, SEB, and Bulloch Academy to take the honors.  Ford Burger won low medalist for the event.  On Thursday, the team hosted a match at FHCC

Lady Devil Golf Team Defeats Portal

Statesboro High’s golf team hosted Portal High, the defending Class A GHSA State Champion, in a girls nine hole match Tuesday at Forest Heights Country Club.  Led by Victory Lee’s 41 and Sloan Aubrey’s 42, the Devils won 83-86.  The Blue Devils return to action this weekend as they travel to Metter to compete.
