SHS @ State Wrestling

At the State Tournament last weekend in Macon, the wrestling team had 2 wrestlers place and also set a school record for team points scored at the tournament. Deon Watson Placed 6th in the 170 lb. weight class. Jarran May placed 4th in the 285 lb. weight class. This is the highest placement in Statesboro

Congratulations to the Statesboro Blue Devil Wrestlers.  The team members competed in the Region Tournament this past weekend. Blue Devil wrestlers found success at the recent Area tournament.  Gabe Hardy (106lbs.), Xavier Schoot (126 lbs.), and J.C. Roberson (132 lbs.) won 1st Place at the Area tournament. Kasey Baynon, Aaron Baynon, Ethan Reaves, Corey McCollough, Daniel Hunter were Runner-ups. 3rd place finishers included Eben Nelson, Ricky Ellison, CJ Simmons. Myracle Salinas placed 4th.
