Statesboro High Golf Team will begin tryouts for the 2017 team.  Tryouts will be held at the GSU golf course Feb. 13.  Tryouts will be held at Forest Heights Country Club Feb. 14. Interested participants must have all required athletic forms (participation, insurance and physical) on file in the athletic office in order to participate.

Wrestlers advance to Sectionals

Blue Devil wrestlers found success at the recent Area tournament.  Gabe Hardy (106lbs.), Xavier Schoot (126 lbs.), and J.C. Roberson (132 lbs.) won 1st Place at the Area tournament. Kasey Baynon, Aaron Baynon, Ethan Reaves, Corey McCollough, Daniel Hunter were Runner-ups. 3rd place finishers included Eben Nelson, Ricky Ellison, CJ Simmons. Myracle Salinas placed 4th.

Statesboro High School Blue Devils have been successful on the home court for the past three games.  With both the boys and the girls winning against Swainsboro, South Effingham and SEB, the Devils started their five home game streak off on the right foot.  The boys beat Swainsboro (66-49), South Effingham (54-39) and SEB (47-42).

Big Changes for the Basketball Cheerleaders!
