Blue Devil Golf Tryouts Begin Feb. 12

Statesboro High School golf tryouts will be held at GSU golf course on 2/12 @4:00 and 2/13 at FHCC @ 4:00.  See Coach Elmore with questions.  Make sure you have turned in your physcial and other athletic paperwork prior to tryouts.  Paperwork is available in the athletic office or for print under “more” on the athletic webpage.  

Blue Devil Soccer Parent Meeting/Tryouts

The Statesboro High Boy’s soccer team will be having it’s new player/parent interest meeting for any new players and parents that would like to know more about the soccer team. Girls Soccer Tryouts Begin 1/16

Girl’s soccer tryouts begin Tuesday, Jan 16th at 3:30. Players will need to bring running shoes, cleats, shin guards, and a water bottle each day to practice. After dressing out in the SHS Athletic Fieldhouse (girl’s locker room), players will report to the track for 1.5 mile run. Practice will end by approx 5:15 each day. Parents should arrive by

Track Team Organizational Meeting 1/11

Track meeting  for all interested in running track for the spring 2018 season will be held Wednesday after school, 3:30-4:00 in the Media Center.

Blue Devil Baseball begins 1/15

Statesboro High School Baseball will begin Monday, January 15 at 2:00 pm at the SHS field at Mill Creek Park.  All physicals, registration, and athletic fees must be turned in/paid prior to the 15th.  See Coach Simmons (room B205) with questions.

Celebrating Seniors

The SHS Football Cheerleaders celebrated the senior cheerleaders at Friday night’s game against South Effingham.  All 8 of the graduating seniors have been a part of SHS cheerleading for the past four years.  Congratulations, girls!  We are proud of you and will miss you!
