“What you do speaks so loudly that I can’t hear what you say.” This is the one word of wisdom that Coach Kaiser, the head varsity football coach at Statesboro High School, would give to his players this season. The players have worked year round lifting weights and running to prepare and they kept in shape for the season. Their overall goal for the season is to make the playoffs, but will they?
Brayden Taylor, a player on the team, says, “Comeback season is here,” obviously excited for the upcoming season. To achieve that comeback, the guys are giving it their all in practice, working on exercises and drills. When asked to identify their favorite exercise, Thomas Ponder indicated it was the “spider drill,” a competitive, whole-team activity.
The players look forward to a great season and feel like Coach Kaiser is changing the culture of the team. They urge everyone to come out and support them.
