Ashton Bradley came into pitch for the top of the fifth inning, and the Cadets answered with two runs. In the bottom of the sixth inning, with bases loaded, Zach Pendergrass walked and brought in a run. Justin Ricketts got a single off an error and brought in another run tying the game 6-6. During the seventh, Benedictine went up from a walk and a SAC fly, making the score 9-6. Two RBIs by Wright Rockett in the bottom of the sixth made the score 9-8 Benedictine Cadets, but the Devils could not score any more.
